It is the start of softball season and the Kimball Jags are off to a good start. The

Varsity Girls are starting the season off with a record of 1-2, losing against the town’s rival Tracy

High. The Junior Varsity has been pushing through preseason with an undefeated record of 3-0.

The freshmen team is working hard on the field and strategizing on their defense and offense.

“I was pulled up to varsity this season and I really like it and all the girls,” said Xiana Villalobos, a

sophomore. Both pitchers on JV, Kaitlynn Petrovich and Savannah Rogers are proud of the

performance they both gave with the win against Tracy High School. “It was a great, intense

game and we pulled our weight and won,” Kaitlynn said.

With the way the season is looking right now, it looks like the Kimball Jaguars are going to do some damage this year!
